Evidence-based Practices in New Brunswick: Research & Evaluation

This one-day conference is designed to:
- Provide New Brunswick researchers/evaluators, managers and practitioners an opportunity to share and discuss research/evaluation projects and knowledge in the following areas:
- Health Care
- Education
- Labour Market/Workforce
- Community-based Initiatives
- Provide networking opportunities
Who should attend?
The conference is designed for anyone interested in learning more about current research or evaluation activities in New Brunswick including government employees, non-government organizations, Health Authority employees, educators, managers, researchers, consultants, students, business and community-based practitioners and others interested in evaluation.
Registration fees (include lunch and coffee breaks):
$120.00 - Non CES member
$100.00 – CES member
$50.00 – Full-time Student
Speakers: A keynote presentation will be made by the New Brunswick’s Ombudsman and Child and Youth Advocate, the Honourable Bernard Richard, with addresses by the National President of the Canadian Evaluation Society, and by Dr. Patricia Kirby and Dr. Bill Morrison, UNB Faculty of Education.
Concurrent Sessions and Posters: Two or three sets of concurrent sessions will be offered and space will be provided for those participants wishing to display poster presentations.

To submit a proposal for a workshop or poster presentation, please complete the Call for Proposals and Poster Presentations Form (see attached) by April 23, 2010, and send by e-mail to one of the conference co-chairs: Dr. Patricia Kirby at pkirby@unb.ca or Brenda Stead, M.Ed., at bstead@nbnet.nb.ca.To register for the conference, please complete the Registration Form (see attached) by May 7, 2010.
